       Dr. Demetria Springfield Banks, better known by her pen name, Dr. Dee, is a dynamic speaker with a profound message of breakthrough, hope, and healing! Her ability to motivate others to take action and move pass obstacles preventing them from being their best, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, has made her a much sought-after speaker! She is indeed uniquely gifted to affect revolutionary change in the lives of others, while directing them to "the Source" of great change, Jesus Christ.

      As founder and CEO of DSB Life Solutions, LLC, Dr. Dee has developed signature masterclasses that have transformed the lives of countless individuals. Drawing from her own life experiences, her breakthrough principles empower others to be the best that they can be in every way.

      Moreover, Dr. Dee's workshops featuring personal development subjects such as: "Surviving Workplace Drama," "Coping Effectively with Stress, "Building Positive Self-Esteem" "The Balancing Act," "Emotional Wellness," and others have attracted and equipped large crowds from all walks of life.

     Dr. Dee is also a successful author of seven books that provide practical power principles moving individuals from stagnation to transformation and overflow. 

    She was a featured author in the distinguished publication, "Today's Purposeful Woman" magazine for her popular prayer devotional, Prayer Pearls:Priceless Inspiration, She was also featured in the Memphis Voyager magazine for her work as a local business creator.  Recently, she was featured in the Canvas Rebel magazine as an upcoming savy business owner. Among the prestigious awards she has received are the Tri-State Defender's 'Woman of Excellence Award," the "Woman of the Month" award from the Comrades N Community, Inc., and community recognition for her participation in the Riverside Tent Crusade.

      Dr. Dee's nonprofit, DSB Ministries Inc., has been instrumental in helping scores of individuals obtain much needed affordable life enrichment services to help them navigate through life's adversities. By focusing on prayer, breakthrough, and the gospel message, Dr. Dee empowers many to live their life and live it more abundantly through Christ (John 10:10).       Scholastically, Dr. Dee was awarded a Doctorate of Philosophy in Clinical Counseling through the Hermitage International Bible College and Seminary in 2011. She received her Masters of Public Administration in Human Resources from The University of Memphis in 2005 and a Bachelors of Psychology in 1988 from Christian Brothers University. She is also a N.C.C.A. licensed pastoral Christian counselor, a A.C.C.A. Board Certified Mental Health Coach, and a A.C.C.A certified life coach. Although proud of her many scholastic achievements, she values her call into the service of the Lord above all.

    She is married to Walter James Banks, Jr. They reside in Memphis, TN and attend Temple of Deliverance C.O.G.I.C, pastor, Bishop Milton R. Hawkins; founder, the late Bishop Gilbert Earl Patterson.
