Demetria Springfield Banks is a woman anointed to bring clarity, healing, and spiritual strength — walking out the assignment of Luke 4:18–19.

She is an intercessor, evangelist, ministry teacher, and author whose calling is rooted in Luke 4:18–19 — to proclaim good news, bring healing to the broken, and announce the Lord’s favor. Her ministry carries a prophetic edge, offering clarity, alignment, and emotional steadiness to women seeking spiritual growth.

With a doctorate in Clinical Pastoral  Counseling (National Christian Counselor's Association - NCCA), temperament counseling certification (American Christian Counselors Association - ACCA), and training in life coaching and mental health coaching through the ACCA, Dr. Banks blends prophetic insight with whole‑person development. She helps individuals understand how God designed them internally so they can walk in external authority.

She is the founder of DSB Ministries, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization focused on spiritual growth, intercession, and evangelistic outreach.

 

She also leads DSB Life Solutions, LLC, where she develops inspirational resources, publishes her written works, and oversees her signature Watch God Work® apparel line. As an author of seven books, Dr. Banks writes with bold prophetic conviction and practical wisdom, challenging women to grow, confront, heal, and rise.

Dr. Banks is married to Walter James Banks, Jr. They reside in Memphis, TN.
